OBS?

Hey bloggyverse. Long time no chat. You know it really feels awkward typing like this. Whats this? Well, I have cutex (nail polish ) on my fingers and it looks weird on my fingers moving around my keypad. Why am I wearing Nail polish, well I am embracing my inner feminine side. Oh who am I kidding, I will polish them off by tonight. Besides I have a Piano exam to sit for. :(

Well, hers is what I descovered. You don't really know a person till you actually spend days and night with them. In my case OBS camp. OBS? Outward Bound School camp. So, here is what I learned :-

1. It is possible for me to not go online for 4 days. :P
2. I am stronger than I think I am.
3. I give up when it gets hard. :(
4. Pain is a state of mind.
5. I can be a clean freak.
6. I really enjoy camping.( like with no-toilets-sleep-in-tents-share-bathing-water-with-everyone-thing)
7. I can clean up after  myself.
8. You are only as strong/fast as your weakest link.
9. You don't know a person till you stay with them.
10. I can live 4 days without sweets, chocolate, junk food and eat what is on the table.
11. Importance of teamwork.
12. Responsibility
and so on. I could go on but I chose the most important ones. You guys should try OBS but let me warn you its NOT for a first time camper.

So what did I do? It all started with a 4:?? drive to Lumut. Get this, I passed my grannies housing area on the way. Then we had some not important worth mentioning games and activities. Then dinner, lectures and bedtime. We had to make our own beds and get up before 6:30 without alarm clocks!! We all panicked and planned to wake each other up. Eventually, the teachers all got us up at 5. Then we had morning exercise, breakfast and rope activity. It was the rope activity where I learned that sometime I panic and just give up. :( What we had to do was climb a bloody rope. Then we had kayaking practise. We made a raft formation. Those who don't know. Google it. You are on the internet. Nah, I just kiddind. Its where all the kayaks line together and hold the kayaks next to you. All the people at the back had to stand and sing OB spirt. Then we took turns and people in the front had to do it. It was kindda tricky trying to balance on water but we made it. :) Later a kayak capsized and we had to do raft formation to help and it took a while and 2 minutes later they capsized again. ._____.
The next day, we were suppose to leave for Pangkor. (3.5 km on a map straight line without taking into consideration the wind and current.) It was dark and the waves were kindda choppy in the begining. It started to get worse quarter way there . The wind was also against us. So eventually, we kayaked back and let me tell you its freaking hard. We did rock climbing instaed. It was hard judging by my tired and sore muscle. But I made it to the top. Yay me!! :) In the eveningish we kayaked to Pangkor. The view was awesome. The place was literally in a jungle and was creepy to some. You could actually see monkeys there! To cut a long story short it was fun and we pitched our own tents and cooked our won food. There was no light and we had to shower in this pool with water and everyone had to share. Our teacher had to hold our torchlights for us. :( Man I never expected that. I pity my  girl friends with their "friends".  At night we saw fireflies. All you fireflies seers don't talk but it was so cool to see one up close and personal. We even built a campfire and watched the teachers pitch their own tents. The next morning I woke up with SUPER SORE muscle. Kayaking back was the last thing I wanted to do at 7:00 in the morning. But we had to and before 7:00 finish breaking up camp and breakfast. Sad. Eventually we made it back and drank hot milo made before leaving camp grounds. After we cleaned the equipment and packed it back. Had lunch got our badges, certs took photos and left. I  must have been so tired cause I feel asleep while watching MIB 3. Then woke up to watch Snow White and The Huntsman and eventually reached RIS. Its school btw. I kept thinking we would go back to SSB but no we stopped miles away. I was last to be picked up but yeah. It was fun. Well I guess I should be going since I am hogging up the toilet and people want to use it. Wait toilet? I AM JUST KIDDING. I do NOT write in the toilet. Eww gross. But I have to go and finish decorating the Christmas Tree maybe I take a photo of it for you guys. :) Toodles.
